did i mention that i now have guests in my humble abode? my auntie R (who was there when i gave birth to Dani, she's more like a mother to me, and i seriously think of her son as my younger bro) and PM.

Hence, its life has been not so lonely. cumanya, lil andi who is not used to having guests at home was initially a little takut. sket sket nak nangis when i leave him to go to toilet or etc. tapi now dah ok.

neway, we are leaving for schweiz esok. yeay!!! i hope my auntie n uncle are ok with what i've planned. we might be going to a factory outlet cos nak gak kan tgk kasut bally. tapi mcm jauh plak la...we'll see cemana.

anyhoo, we might also be going to rome!! yeahoooo....bestnyer..hopefully the plan jadi. :)

and, i might be going to london for my xmas holidays and after that singgah tgk my bestie's baby in cardiff. tp, tgh cari tpt to lepak (ie:somewhere to crash masa kt london). hopefully ada cos we (my friend n i) plan to pegi boxing day sale. ihiks. harusssss!!!!

wish me luck for tomorrows trip. i hope everything will work out smoothly.

overwhelmed

saya adalah agak sedikit overwhelmed setelah mempresent reserach yg saya plan nk buat di depan kelas forschung praktikum.

i can see tht my sv kinda like d idea. tetapi, cadangan yg be;iau buat adalah sedikit overwhelming gittew.

1. baca buku grundlegendetexte zur transkulturelle komunikation (ye...buku ini dlm bhs German u ols!tp, sy dah book kt library cos ada org pinjam)
2. cari perbezaan antara cultural identity and nationalisme and list down d indikators ---- ini yg membuatkan sy agak kerisauan u ols!

i give myself 1 month to try n find the answers. so far, managed to google some excerpts in books. im trying to access online journal yg ukm subscribe but terlupa plak caranye?? how ek?? ada sesape bleh beri tunjuk ajar dak?

so i guess, i shall put morley down for a bit and concentrate in finding some answers.

walaupun begitu, sv saya memotivasikan sy dgn bkata i know it wont be easy, but its a challenge for you to find some answers. bila mak dah faham konsep, harap2, pjalanan akan lebih lancar.

neway, i'm glad that he kinda like my proposal cos nk gak citer ada sorang student ni dtg kelas dgn tiada preparation. bila ditanye ttg cadangan research, dia kt nk cipta satu model komunikasi that lists down some kind of competency (forgive me cos she was speaking in deutsch). pastu, tu je. tu je yg dia ckp. sv sy tanya, apa sebenarbenarnye yg awak nk buat ni...she ulang blk...hinggakan sv sy agak fedap (can see his muka).

Mari mem-Puree : The Green Suprise

usually, i will make the normal chicken or prawn porridge for Andi and throw in some carrots. tapi hari ni, i decided to be a lil bit adventurous.

I got a recipe for broccoli, carots and cheese mashed potatoes from Anne. i bought the broccoli, dan carots yg kaler yellow tu cos i think it tastes sweeter (cos I remember Dani absolutely loved em) and potatoes. tapi bila nak masak tu, i decided to just buat my own recipe...hihi...DIY gittew.

So ini resipi saya yang dipanggil the Green Suprise.

1 medium sized potatoes - cut into small cubes
1 carot kuning - cut into small pieces
sedikit brocolli..aprox 3 gugus kecik (aiyoo...its like 3 bunches of those florets)- chopped
sediikit bawang besar - chopped

dump everything dalam pot...add water
boil till everything masak. i boiled for a few hours to make sure it was really lembik.
once i saw the air mcm tinggal sikit, i switched off the api.
n blend...and wallaaaa...the green suprise

FYI, Andi loved it and siap tambah masa makan tadi. :)

oh...i managed to get 5 servings. so i froze 4 and suap-ed 1 to Andi.

Esok nak try buat pear chicken plak...nantikan yer resepi nyer (kalau jadila).

i have bought the tickets and booked the hotels!! i am so excited...will be spending one night in zurich, so that senang nak catch the train.

will be staying at budget hotels but these hotels have gotten good reviews. i hope oklaa because if it was just me, takpe..ni im bringing my auntie and uncle.

overall, i have spend:

tiket to interlaken: 59.90euro
tiket balik wien from zurich: 49.90euro
hotel in interlaken 5d/4n: 240chf
hotel in zurich 1nite: 100chf

so tiket + hotel in euros = 334.80euros.

transport plak : 260chf (4day pass in Switzerland) + 96.90chf (nak naik jungfraujoch) = 236 euros

Jadi kosnyer adalah 570.80 euros. Phew...berpeluh baca ongkos..tapi bila pikir balik, its for 6days 5 nights. and zurich is a pretty expensive city.

pastu, nak shopping hanyalah nak beli chocolates untuk family in Key Ell and nak beli fridge magnets and maybe baju untuk anankandas. tu je la kot...

there goes my bajet nak beli handbag...

Andi had his pead appointment today. So, he had the routine timabng2, ukur lilit kepala etc. masa time ukur lilit kepala, the nurse yg ukur tu, ukur 3 kali...i thought that it was pelik but then tak pikir sangat cos Andi was very active and tak nak duduk diam.

anyhoo, we were then called into the doctor's office. doktor kata he's not growing well. sigh. he's 7.16kg at 7 months.last time he was weighed in july, he was 6.8.so docs agak risau cos he only gained about 300grams.

neways, doktor kata maybe should start him on formula. but i said, he doesnt want bottles..so cemano? so doktor kata, bg dia makan. n she drew up an eating plan.

8am: brei (thats like nestum tu laaaa, yg dalam kotak kita mix dgn air jer)100g
1030: fruits 100g
12.30: vege (and every 2nd day, must give meat)120g
3.30:fruits 100g
5.30: brei
8.30pm: brei

so, hari ni, i gave him his fruit at 10.30. tapi 3.30 x bg cos dia kat daycare. n balik, lepas dia bangun i gave him brei lagi. tapi dia kan, tak makan la cukup2 100g tu. cemano ek?

risau plak ni if dia tak grow properly. but my mom said he's still within the tahap weight yg ok for a 7month old.

have to get him used to eating banyak kali. pastu, doc pricked him to tgk kandungan iron dalam darah. apparently ok tp a bit on the low side so he was given iron drops and vit d drops. hmmm

when i droppped him at the daycare, trus pegi shopping barang2 makanan andi ok. i bought dinkel (dono what its called in BI...wheat kot) cos doc suh campur 3 sudu kecik dengan fuits to be given petang2. bubur, doc suh letak sket vege oil to help serap vitamins.

i hope he'll be okei. i mean, i see him so active. tapi tu la....nampak macam tembam jer tapi ghupanye tak la berat sangat.

dalam sibuk2 nak start membaca, sempat laaa nak mengeplan trip ke switzerland. how??

my aunt n uncle are coming next week. n we are planning to go to schweiz the week after cos my aunt, she really really wants to go.

so, skarang, i tgh sibuk membuat research yg sepatutnyer...phew..penat ok. so this is my plan..will go from 26th till 30th.

25/10: naik night train to zurich and take the connecting train to interlaken
26/10: sampai interlaken about 10-ish. leave bags at hotel and walk around city. pastu check in. rehat2. n jalan lagiikkk...
27/10: explore grindwald and maybe go to bern
28/10: jungfraujoch
29/10:zurich
30/10:balikkk (tapi sempat lagi ronda2 interlaken japs)

total cost: 500 euros...blom masuk makan2 and shopping. berbaloi ke tak agaknye? tp bila pikir, when else will i be going kaann??? *matila nk justify.

pastu...nak cerita pasal pengalaman di library. i went to the main library yesterday dgn niat nak comb through the shelves to cari buku2 tp niatku terbantut. ini kerna. bila masuk..memula terpegun cps tengok library memang macam old skool. siap ada creaky steps and floor boards. sekaliiii....pusing2...tgh apesal semua macam kamus and buku2 rujukan sajor? where are the rest of the books. ghupanye, konsep dia, cari online, reserve dah ambik di counter. ai tak biasa ok. slalu pi library dgn niat nk pinjam buku X, kluar library, dgn buku X, serta Y, Z, K, J. ha...sebab browse punye browse jumpa byk buku,,,kan?? tapi ni tak bleh! *frust*


so, balik lah saya dengan hati yg hampa...dalam melayan kehampaa-an, sempat la stop by h&m and zara beli stock baju winter for anakanda. dah cukup la kot kan baju winter dia. oh.,..need to buy snowsuit plak. hmmm...

ohh...i did all this while andi was in the daycare.

neway, my fren told me that every third tuesdays at votivkino ada mum n baby cinema. cannot wait to try it out next month!!
